Hi I’m Natalie, a certified electrologist. I trained at California Electrology Academy, a top Electrology school, under the mentorship of internationally renowned instructors. I am a member of the Electrology Education Coalition, the Colorado Association of Electrologists and the American Electrology Association, which provide professional development and continuing education. Electrolysis is the only method of permanent hair removal approved by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and the American Medical Association (AMA). It is a precise and targeted method of permanent hair removal. Each hair is treated individually, one at a time. Therefore electrolysis is optimal for small areas or less dense hair. It is effective on any hair color, anywhere on the face or body. Electrolysis permanently removes individual unwanted hair by applying an electric current to the hair root, resulting in its destruction. The process is gradual. It can take a few months to see results and 18 months to 2-3 years for bare skin. My priority is to safely and comfortably get you to your permanent hair free goals as quickly as possible. Electrolysis clients’ needs range from treating a few unwanted hair, to hormonal hair removal, to medically necessary hair removal. Additional Considerations Any person under the age of 18 must have parents or guardian consent. The parent or guardian must be present for all treatments. CONTRAINDICATIONS While Electrolysis hair removal is safe, some medical conditions or medications are contraindicated. Definitive contraindications: Pacemakers and Defibrillators, Heart Conditions, High Blood Pressure, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Cochlear Implants, Bleeding Disorders, Diabetes, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes. * History of Keloids or Hypertrophic Scarring * Active skin conditions in the treatment area will need to heal before electrolysis: rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, sunburns, recent wounds, bruising or edema. * Skin Infections like: * Viral infections, e.g. Cold sore/Herpes Simplex or Warts. * Bacterial infections, e.g. Impetigo (highly contagious) Acne Vulgaris. * Fungal Infections e.g. Ringworm (highly contagious). * Parasitic infections, e.g. Scabies (highly contagious). * Any other condition that may impact treatment, impair healing or cause an increased risk of infection. Contraindicated Medications * Antigoagulants (Blood thinners such a warfarin, heparin or clopidogrel) * Retin-A or other products containing retinoids (stop 4 weeks before electrolysis) * Accutane (Isotretinoin) - stop 1 year before electrolysis. * Prescription Acne Medications * Immunosuppressive medications * Photosensitizing medications (drugs that can cause your skin to become more sensitive to sunlight). It's important to note that these lists are not exhaustive, and individual cases vary. - Electrolysis is not recommended during pregnancy. - It is advised to wait several weeks before starting electrolysis following skin treatment such as: chemical peel, dermal filler, Botox, Dysport, mechanical dermabrasion, dermaplaning, laser resurfacing, AHA/BHA/PHA, hydroquinone, skin rejuvenation, retinoic acid or retinoids.

Cancellation Policy

Pure Pulse Electrolysis kindly requests a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will incur the full appointment fee. Consultations are complimentary, but failure to attend without a 24-hour notice will result in a $50 fee. Not confirming your appointment does not cancel the appointment. Please cancel through the booking system. If you arrive late, we will strive to accommodate your session, though the full appointment amount will still be charged.
